Developed by Dream Dock Games, Dreadmoor has been making waves since its reveal, garnering over 350,000 wishlists on Steam! After the likes of Dredge, no doubt players are eager to sail into another rich atmospheric fishing game, and this one definitely has the vibes. In Dreadmoor, players must fend off hellish creatures as they catch fish and upgrade their ship. Those eager to check out Dreadmoor will be able to play the demo, October 6 via Steam.
DREADMOOR is a dark first-person fishing adventure game set in a submerged world, rotting from a past catastrophe. Fish in murky waters, upgrade your boat, craft survival gear, and fight monstrous creatures that lurk under the water and on the land.
It definitely looks very atmospheric, and I’ve been itching for more games in that Dredge vein. Given that handmade style, I’m pretty hooked in already, but even so I’m curious how it set itself apart from the latter. The survival component seems like it has a lot of depth(pun intended) with how players will engage with those otherworldly creatures. Etherway, horror fishing game sickos are eating well!
Dreadmoor doesn’t currently have an exact release date past Q4 2026, but you can play the demo on October 6.
