Charge up your phones if you’re in Brisbane this weekend! Pokémon GO City Safari is taking over Saturday 26 and Sunday 27, giving you the chance to explore seven special online zones across Brisbane.
From 9 am – 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, fans who venture to the City Centre, Roma Street Parkland, Queensland Cultural Centre, South Bank, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane River Walk and New Farm Park will find special themed PokéStops and Gyms as they complete the city-wide stamp rally.
The event’s official hub will be at Queen Street Mall, where attendees can get a cardboard Pikachu visor and limited-edition stickers to celebrate. At midday on Sunday, a Pokémon GO community photo will take place at King George Square, along with a dedicated trading hour.
The Pokémon GO City Safari: Brisbane event also coincides with the Pokémon Regional Championships happening at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.
