Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail’s latest update has arrived with Patch 7.25, adding a new Field Operations series called Occult Crescent.
WHAT IS OCCULT CRESCENT?
Inspired by the Bermuda Triangle, players can equip and level up special jobs known as Phantom Jobs, which give players access to unique actions and traits as they explore the Occult Crescent. This field operation contains battle encounters in the open field with up to a party of eight, and larger-scale boss encounters called Critical Encounters, where up to 72 players can participate at once.
Additionally, once a knowledge level of 20 is reached, players can take part in a 48-player dungeon for unique rewards.
