ReachOut Australia‘s newest streaming initiative, ReachOut, Level Up, has begun, running from August 25th to August 31st, to help raise funds and awareness for crucial youth mental health support programs in Australia. This inaugural event joins a pool of videogame streaming initiatives to raise awareness for important causes, which makes us even more proud to be Australian.
ReachOut, Level Up aims to highlight the importance of accessible mental health support as 40% of young people in Australia currently face mental health challenges, with suicide being the leading cause of death among 14-25 year olds.
The event, which runs from August 25-31, is hosted on Twitch and will feature a diverse lineup of streamers, encouraging anyone else who wants to get involved to sign up and get involved, whether it’s streaming a game, an arts and crafts tutorial, or just to chat. On top of the rewarding experience of raising money for a worthy cause, there’s also a chance to earn some epic rewards along the way.
