Arrowhead Game Studios has announced that the first official Helldivers 2 crossover is with the critically acclaimed PlayStation 3 title, Killzone 2. This comes after the Omens of Tyranny update was announced and released just a few days ago.
The Helldivers 2 x Killzone 2 crossover is cosmetic-based and will be available in the Superstore in two parts. Part 1 is live now and features the AC-1 Dutiful Armor Set, StA-52 Assault Rifle, the Strength in our Arms Player Banner and Cape, and the Assault Infantry Player Title.
Part 2 of the Killzone 2 superstore will be live on December 23.
The team at Arrowhead have also teased a Killzone 2-related reward for all players based on the outcome of the Galactic War:
“High Command informs us that beyond the Superstore content, there’s also an additional Killzone 2 reward for all Helldivers depending on your success in the Galactic War…”
