HBO has released a new trailer for The Last of Us Season 2 alongside an official release date of April 2025.

The trailer 69-second trailer shows many iconic scenes and locations from The Last of Us Part II, including Abby’s flashback scene to the ending events of the first game in the series, the Dina and Ellie dancing flashback, plus one small glimpse of Joel with tears running down his face.
The Last of Us Season 2 will feature Pedro Pascal as Joel, Bella Ramsey as Ellie, Isabela Merced as Dina, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, and many more.
HBO’s The Last of Us garnered critical acclaim when it premiered in 2023. The show has an 8.7/10 IMDb rating and has a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
