The developer behind Umurangi Generation, ORIGAME DIGITAL, has announced that their next game, Penguin Colony, has now got its own Steam page. The page showcases the grainy, ominous atmosphere that the narrative adventure game will have. Get ready to slip and slide as a little guy, and make sure to watch out for the odd orca, sea lion or shoggoth.
“Slide across the frozen wastes of Antarctica as a Penguin in PENGUIN COLONY, a short narrative adventure game which re-imagines H.P. Lovecrafts At the Mountains of Madness for a new generation. Set from a radically different perspective we observe the story from the eyes of a Penguin hearing the echoes of our narrator describing his plight”
There’s no release date for Penguin Colony yet, but you can get more info about the game on the new Steam Page here.
Australia-based developer ORIGAME DIGITAL released Umurangi Generation just over half a decade ago. A thought-provoking indie where you document the end of the world through the lens of your camera, Umurangi Generation hits you with strong themes of class struggle, climate crisis, indigeneity, and more.
Since last year’s release onto VR Platforms, developer Veselekov has been working on a few projects, including a survival horror (Ghost Tape. .57), and a joint project with BROKENCIGS (Inkression) and fumigawa in The Hilltop Funeral.
Vaselekov streams 3 times a week over on his Twitch channel. You may also catch some development on Ghost Tape .57!
You can wishlist PENGUIN COLONY on Steam now.
