Valve has officially announced the existence of its new multiplayer game, Deadlock – well, sort of.
A Steam page for Deadlock has appeared, and while the page itself is lacking in detail, it does reveal a few elements of the in-development title.
The Steam page states that Deadlock “is a multiplayer game in early development” with “lots of temporary art and experimental gameplay”, and is accompanied by a short 22-second teaser trailer of an early development build.
The game has been an open secret for quite a while, so much so, that over 40,000 players were playing the in-development title only five days ago (August 18, 2024) and over 27,000 players are playing at the time of this news story’s publication.
Due to the number of players currently experiencing the early development build, it is known that Deadlock will be a 6v6 third-person hero shooter with MOBA-like elements.
