The best-kept secret in gaming has finally been revealed by Bethesda during a special surprise presentation overnight. After rumours began to swirl with some leaks earlier in April, it’s been officially confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster not only exists but it’s out now!

Explore the vast landscape of Cyrodiil like never before and stop the forces of Oblivion from overtaking the land in one of the greatest RPGs ever from the award-winning Bethesda Game Studios.
Oblivion Remastered is a total remaster with many quality of life improvements. Besthesda aimed to rebuild the game for a new generation while staying true to what players loved about it. With the help of Paris studio – Vertuos, it’s undeniable just how good the graphics look too. In the presentation, they detailed the level fo depth they’ve gone to upgrade the game. It’s now powered by Unreal Engine 5 with 4K resolution, 60fps and boasts updated textures and world refinement to make the most of the new hardware boost. Everything from rerecorded character dialogue to new animations for spell and weapons has seen a juicy update.
Available as a Standard Edition and a Deluxe Edition, players need not worry about any horse armour DLC woes for the most part. Every piece of content from the original release is available in the Standard. The main difference between the editions however, is that the Deluxe Edition features new content, including quests, armour and weapons as well as a digital artbook and soundtrack.
