Last week, we were blessed with an official date for the new Frosty Games Fest Showcase. At the time, Frosty was set to be a pleasant unofficial accompaniment to the ever-anticipated Summer Games Fest.
The Frosty Games Team have revealed that their event will be joining the Summer Games Fest event roster, officially bringing “cool sh*t made in ANZ” to Summer Games Fest! They’ll be joining the likes of the Six One Indie Showcase, Day of the Devs, Wholesome Direct, Women-Led Games, and many more!
For Frosty Games Fest’s debut, this is huge! As an event supported by funding from the Screen Australia Games Event Fund, the team’s goal of bringing games from ANZ to the global stage has been realised. It’s a real testament to the commitment of the the team behind the showcase. With over 50 games from Australia and New Zealand teased (and now upwards of 10 confirmed), it’s set to be a cold blast!

Frosty Games Fest will broadcast on June 8 AEST. Here are the local timezones plus a few international ones if you’re tuning in abroad:
- Australia: 9am AEST | 8:30am ACDT | 7am AWST (June 8)
- New Zealand: 11am NZST (June 8)
- Japan: 8am JST (June 8)
- USA: 4pm PDT | 7pm EDT (June 7)
- UK: 12am BST (June 8)
