It seems fans of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series will have to wait just a little bit longer for the latest instalment in the series. Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ release date has been pushed back to March 20, to refine and polish the game further, implementing feedback from fans. You can find the full delay statement from the official Assassin’s Creed X(Twitter) account below.

The last delay was announced back in September, pushing the game release into 2025. From what’s been shown of the game so far, it does appear like Ubisoft has listened to fans seeking that true assassin experience. Taking an extra month to really focus on that feedback hopefully means Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be worth the wait.
In the latest gameplay overview earlier this week, fans were given details on Assassin’s Creed Shadows parkour system. Naoe is as agile as ever, with speed and a grappling hook balancing some of the smoothest shinobi moves we’ve seen across the series. As a long-time player of the series, seeing how she traverses through the environments with ease is definitely a highlight. You can learn more about the parkour system here.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows releases on March 20 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
