As the Nintendo Switch 2 was announced, Nintendo also announced hands-on experiences around the world, including one coming up in Melbourne, where you can be one of the first to experience the new console.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Experience will take place on May 10-11, 2025 and allow fans to experience the Nintendo Switch 2 first-hand ahead of its launch later in 2025. Tickets to the event will be made available through a randomly selected draw, similar to the one we’ve seen with Nintendo Live Sydney 2024 and the Nintendo Alarmo early access sign-up. A free Nintendo Account is required to register.
Registrations are open from January 18 at 11:00am AEDT until January 26 11:59pm AEDT. During registration, you can opt to receive tickets as an individual or as a group of up to four people.
So what will the experience be like? Nintendo states in their FAQ that the expected gameplay experience of each session will be 3 hours and 30 minutes and that it will include some curated games as well as time for guests to choose a limited number of additional games to play from a variety of game demos available.
