Hideo Kojima has finally announced DEATH STRANDING 2: On The Beach’s release date at SXSW, alongside a collector’s edition and a brand-new trailer. The long-awaited sequel to 2019’s DEATH STRANDING will arrive on PlayStation 5 on June 26, 2025.
The 10-minute trailer, directed by Kojima himself, showcases gameplay and a generous amount of cinematics to help players piece together the story.
Returning to the cast are Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux, and Troy Baker, with new additions Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna, Alastair Duncan, Alissa Jung, Luca Marinelli, and Debra Wilson joining.

DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH COLLECTOR’S EDITION
The Collector’s Edition features both physical and digital content and will be available for pre-order from March 17, 2025, at 10am local time from selected retailers with a RRP of $369.95 AUD.

RRP won’t be that, and I highly doubt retailers, EB will be the exclusive retailer and the price will be over $400, we always gets ripped a new arsehole on anything tech here.
PlayStation Australia has confirmed the RRP $369.95 AUD, but yeah, it doesn’t necessarily mean certain retailers are going to adhere to that price.
