“I want to fund your game!” Romantic horror narrative Draculesti has officially debuted on Kickstarter. Having previously shown at PAX Aus, the visual novel is seeking support to cover the final stages of development, including funding voice acting for the final game.
Draculesti is a villain-focused reimaging of the iconic classic Dracula novel by Bram Stoker, first published in 1897. Draculesti explores the characters of the novel, giving context to Renfield, Dracula’s Brides, and even Dracula himself. If you’re a fan of visual novels, gothic themes and LGBTQI+ stories, then you’ll love this one.
With the support of the Kickstarter, Fine Feathered Fiends intends to support the final stages of the game’s production, including funding the remaining development, voice acting, making merch and paying taxes – the usual stuff. The studio intends to launch into early access in late 2025 with two story routes. They are currently aiming to ship the full game in late 2026.
Voice casting announcements so far have featured Ray Chase as Dracula and even Erika Ishii as Cezera Dracula. I’m really excited to see more of the game’s voice cast because it’s such a rich setting to portray, and it’s off to an incredibly strong start already!
Development on Draculesti began back in 2019. Since then the scope for the game has only expanded but right the way through LGBTQ+ characters and relationships have remained a strong focus.

Amongst the rewards for the Kickstarter, players can have their name appear in the game, not just in the credits, but in postcard prints, charms, body pillows, and even designing an NPC. As with all Kickstarters, meeting that initial goal can be a big ask, but with the situation with publishers right now, it’s often the only resort for indie studios.
There is a Demo of Draculesti currently live on Steam and itch.io should you wish to try out the game.
