Happy Holidays! The Frosty Games Team is back with their Frosty Mini, a showcase to accompany The Game Awards. We’ve once again been graced with a bunch of new ANZ games to look out for and wishlist!
Here is everything shown during Frosty Mini. Check out all the individual trailers below or the full showcase and give these wonderful ANZ-made games a wishlist by clicking on the titles of the games!
Wyrmspace Tactics – Game Reveal
A banger to begin the showcase, with Wali Studios bringing us their debut title where you play the members of a traumatised space crew pulling off faster-than-light heists. Using each team member’s recount of events in the form of action cards.
Signs of Danger – Game Reveal
Another great reveal. Signs of Danger is a chaotic, physics-based roguelike that looks like a mix between Noita and Powder Toy. Developer Slow Rush teases a 2026 demo date, so keep an eye out for that!
Enfant – New Trailer
A new trailer along with a public playtest is dropped for Enfant, a beautiful adventure game about an Elephant looking for it’s herd in a post-human world.
Castle Cab – Release Window
Move over Crazy Taxi, this is Crazy Horse-and-Carriage! This wild horse-themed party game gets a release window of Q4 2026.
Bad Badger – Game Reveal
In another exciting reveal, Bad Badger is based on the infamous Stoffel the Honey Badger who made news after escaping his enclosure time and again. This Open-Zoo sandbox doesn’t have a release date, but you can wishlist it over on it’s Steam page.
Liminal – Game Reveal
Teasing a release for sometime in 2026, explore various worlds and perspectives using your body in VR. Take the POV of different creatures and move throughout the world as they would in Luminary’s debut title!
From The Top – Surprise Release
In the showcase’s first surprise release, From The Top is a deckbuilder, spinning top roguelike. Collect different tops, combine them and find new synergies as you drop them into the ring. JunkFall33’s exciting new project released onto Steam alongside the Frosty Mini!
Grist – Early Access Date
Coming to Early Access on February 26, 2026, Grist is an ASCII-driven Roguelike RPG with a tonne of character! If you want a taste of what’s to come, Chironex Studios has a demo for you that’s out right now!
Teeto – Release Window
This adorable 3D platformer teases a Q2 2026 release window for both PC and consoles. The colourful collectathon has a demo out on Steam right now, too!
Odd Jobs: On The Lot – Release Date
This chaotic-looking party game from developer, One Up Plus, releases late 2026 on Steam!
Letters to Arralla – New Platforms
Everyone’s favourite caked-up Turnip has an exciting announcement! You can play as the cutesy courier on the go, when Letters to Arralla release on Nintendo Switch early next year!
Video Nightz – First Demo
Studio Kraze’s Y2K Video Store sim gets a new trailer alongside a demo, you can check that out right now on Steam!
Factory 95 – First Demo
Keeping with the theme, Factory 95 is another Y2K-themed game with a demo out right now. This one, however, will have you automating the craft of slideshows… in a slide show!
Game Quest: The Backlog Battler – New Demo
In a game that is essentially impossible for me to beat, Game Quest: The Backlog Battler has you fighting against and alongside your library of Steam games. A new gameplay trailer dropped with a playable demo on Steam! Maybe knock out a few games from your backlog before tackling this gauntlet though.
GO PHISH – Game Reveal
In an exciting, yet disturbing exclusive reveal, GO PHISH has you scamming unsuspecting internet users in order to pay your rent. The Steam page launched alongside the Frosty Mini, so go check it out!
The Willowmist Emporium of Antiques & Curiosities – First Demo
A brand new gameplay trailer AND a demo drop?! Two and a Half Studios has spoiled us with a new look at their cozy narrative Antique Store shop sim.
Bento Blocks – New Demo
This beloved puzzler reveals both a new trailer and a new demo out right now, on Steam!
A Date with Death 2: REMNANTS – Game Reveal
Two and a Half Studios blesses us with another entry into the Frosty Mini, revealing a sequel to their ever-popular romance chat sim. No release date on this one, but you can go and wishlist it right now!
Middle Management – Game Reveal
After showcasing at PAX Aus earlier this year, Middle Management is being revealed to a worldwide audience for the first time! A mix of beauracracy and body horror, this management sim doesn’t yet have a release date or a demo but the Steam Page launched alongside the
Adaptory – Early Access Date
Stormcloak Game’s Space Colony Sim gets an Early Access release date on January 26th next year! Pack your Space Food Sticks (Damn, I miss those) and get ready!
Die by Die – Game Reveal
We got a first look at an impressive text-based adventure where you and up to three other players embark on an epic quest, die by die. No release date yet, but you can wishlist over on the Steam Page!
Wirm – Surprise Release
Sbug games brings us a surprise release with their wormy physics platformer! It even includes multiplayer, tell your friends!
Woodworm – Surprise Release
Another worm-based surprise release, Woodworm wriggles its way onto Steam! Chomp down on some wood to make beautiful sculptures or explore the world around.
Drăculești – Early Access Date
Following their successful Kickstarter campaign, Fine Feathered Friends reveals an Early Access date for their horror-romance visual novel about sexy vampires. Bite into it on March 2nd, 2026!
Key Fairy – Release Date
Pacifist Bullet-Hell game Key Fairy is dropping on February 19th next year! Hauntingly beautiful and mysterious, you won’t want to sleep on this one.
Toroa: Skycall – Surprise Release
Lastly, Atawhai Interactive’s soaring simulator had an exciting surprise release! Take to the skies right now on Steam.
