Final Fantasy XVI DLC and PC Version Details Are Coming Soon

Final Fantasy XVI DLC

Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida has announced in a short video posted to X, that version 1.10 is now available. On top of this announcement, two Final Fantasy XVI DLC instalments and a PC edition of the game are currently in the works.

Final Fantasy XVI Version 1.10 Patch Notes

This update adds a feature that allows you to change certain characters’ appearances, as well as making several adjustments to game balance, including an update to how scores are calculated in Arcade Mode. It also fixes some issues and adds new functionality based on player feedback.

Key updates include:

  • Change the appearance of your equipped weapon to that of a weapon Clive has previously obtained.
  • New costumes are available for Clive, Torgal, Jill, and more which are accessible using the Arete Stone in the hideaway.
  • Each player is awarded the Onion Sword, first seen in FINAL FANTASY III, and will have the same attributes as Braveheart and the blood sword.
  • Changes to Arcade Mode including a new leaderboard.

Final Fantasy XVI DLC and PC Version Announced

Naoki Yoshida briefly announced at the end of the video that the team are working on two paid DLC instalments to the game as well as the PC Version of the game. No other details were provided, but more news will be shared before the end of the year.
