Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, titled “Wrecked,” launched over the weekend. It brought some new changes, including the removal of the Aspects of the Gods items, with new medallions added. Here’s a guide on the new Medallion locations, also known as Spoils of War, and what they do.
What are Medallions in Fortnite?
Medallions are dropped upon defeating the bosses around the map. Medallions grant special effects to anyone holding them but will show their location to enemies on the map.
The Medallion Locations In Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 3 and What They Do
Megalo Don, Ringmaster Scarr, and The Machinist are the new bosses who hold the new Medallion items. Upon defeat, the bosses will each drop a medallion, which will grant special effects and grant access to the garage’s holding bossess’ cars.
The new Medallions and their effects:
- Megalo Don
Location: Brutal Beachhead or patrolling in vehicles
Medallion Effect: You are infused with unlimited Nitro while this Medallion is in your inventory. - Ringmaster Scarr
Location: Nitrodome
Medallion Effect: Your weapons have infinite ammunition and increased weapon damage. - The Machinist
Location: Redline Rig or a War Bus convoy
Medallion Effect: Your shield automatically replenishes over time.
