Nintendo has announced a new entry into The Legend of Zelda series during their June 2024 Nintendo Direct. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is the first game in the series to feature Princess Zelda as the main protagonist.

The trailer showcases the game’s Link’s Awakening-style graphics and introduces the main plot of the story. Link has vanished in a mysterious rift, and soon after Princess Zelda befriends a mysterious fairy called Tri and acquires the Tri Rod.
Using the Tri Rod, Princess Zelda can create an “Echo” of objects and monsters found around the world to explore Hyrule, solve puzzles, and defeat enemies.
When is The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom coming out?
The game will be released on September 26, 2024, exclusively to Nintendo Switch.
