It’s been a busy weekend for the folks at Hangar 13 as they have dropped a Story Trailer and Cinematic for their upcoming title Mafia: The Old Country. This next game in the Mafia franchise, launching on August 8, is a linear, story-focused game that promises to be gritty, grounded, brutal, and emotional.

The “Loyalty is Everything” story trailer gives fans a closer look at the protagonist Enzo Favara’s role in the ongoing feud between the Torrisi and Spadaro crime families, as he carries out the Don’s bidding to secure control of 1900s Sicily’s criminal underworld.
While the trailer does not show any gameplay, it does the perfect job of setting the tone for the game and gives us another glimpse of how cinematic we can expect Mafia: The Old Country to be.

In “The Initiation” cinematic, we see an integral scene in Enzo’s story, one where he makes a formal pledge to the Torrisi crime family.
