PAX Aus is sure creeping closer, and we finally have an idea of what games will be appearing in this years coveted Expo Hall. Eager attendees will get to go hands-on with some of the biggest upcoming games including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Alien: Isolation 2, Persona 4 Revival, Stranger Than Heaven and Just Dance Decades of Hits! Alongside over 90 indie games, it’s going to be a very big PAX Aus indeed.
Final Fantasy players are also eating well this PAX Aus! Along with FFXIV returning for another year, as well as opportunities to go hands-on with the game on Switch 2. Final Fantasy VII is also going to be showcased ahead of its release in April next year.
While the big AAA stuff is typically the draw for PAX Aus, I can’t wait to dive into the indie area with games from the Aus Indie Showcase, PAX Rising and CODE NZ promising a new crop of upcoming games to try out across all three days. There will be more than 90 indie games attending this year so there’s sure to be something for everyone in the bunch.
And if you’ve got your eye out for some new tech, Mwave is running a slew of giveaways while Aftershock is running a stamp quest with winners going into the running to score one of two custom Aftershock PCs. I will admit I was hoping we’d see Nintendo again this year, but alas I’m more than happy with Alien: Isolation 2 given how incredible the last game was.
