Gone are the days when Metro Trains was the home of all things Dumb Ways to Die. Maybe it was that tune that was just slightly too catchy, or the app promoting safety you remember… but where are they now, you ask? After being acquired by Playside Studios back in late 2021, the series kept growing with additions such as Dumb Ways to Party, Dumb Ways Free For All and Dumb Ways to Draw, all spin-offs born from those haphazard adventures.
Now the beans are back in Dumb Ways to Build, a co-op, friendlike game where players must assemble a crew and work together to construct totally safe builds and somehow escape the worksite alive. It’s coming out really soon too! Dumb Ways to Build drops September 10th, just 2 weeks after its announcement.
It looks like a pretty interesting twist on the genre, with the emphasis on teamwork, yet there’s plenty of room for your friends to run amok. Also a big fan of this being cross-platform from launch!
Game Features:
- 1 – 4 Player Online Co-Op: Build with your friends, or brave the hazardous worksite in Solo Play.
- Chaotic Crisis Jobs: Tackle deadly jobs, each packed with unique challenges & hazards.
- Proximity Chat: Coordinate your crew’s efforts or just listen to the ensuing carnage as you all discover Dumb Ways to Die.
- Physics-Based Arsenal: Experiment with an inventory of construction tools, wacky consumables, and makeshift building materials.
- Bean Customization: Stand out on the job site with a truckload of unique, unlockable cosmetics to personalize your Bean.
- So many Dumb Ways to Die!
Dumb Ways to Build drops September 10 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
