This past Tuesday, we were blessed with a new trailer for the long awaited and highly anticipated GTA VI. While there are a million and one articles about the contents of the trailer itself, I’d like to highlight something else Rockstar put out to promote the most expensive game ever made – Rockstar’s GTA VI website. Beautifully animated from top to bottom, Rockstar shows off a bunch of information about the new Grand Theft Auto that people have been eagerly awaiting.

“Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida — forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.”
As you scroll down the page you’ll meet the two main protagonists, Jason Duvall and Lucia Camino. This Bonnie and Clyde duo are shown off with a short blurb about each of them, accompanied by a few high-res screenshots. The website entices you to keep scrolling, with some slick animations built in between each showcase.
Moving on, you meet a few of the other characters Jason and Lucia will be interacting with throughout the game. People like music artists Dre’quan Priest and duo Real Dimez, both signed on to Only Raw Records, run by real estate entrepreneur and strip club owner Boobie Ike. Seasoned criminals like Raul Bautista and Brian Heder are shown, along with Jason’s conspiracy nut and Stavros Halkias lookalike Cal Hampton.

You can also check out some of the locations you’ll be tearing through; like the redneck swamps of Grassrivers, the industrial heart of Leonida with it’s Sugar Factory and heavy biker gang presence, and everyone’s favourite bustling Vice City.
Lastly, you can watch and download any of the trailers, screenshots, and wallpapers that Rockstar has provided on the site in a separate tab. I was so impressed by the effort placed into this beautifully made webpage, it’s so rare nowadays to find anything other than the stock standard when it comes to game websites. If the full game has half the juice of this website, we’re in for one hell of a ride come May 26 next year!
