During PlayStation’s State of Play earlier today, Days Gone Remastered was announced to be heading to PS5 on April 25, 2025. Read below to find out what’s included in this enhanced version, plus where to find the cheapest PS4 copy so you can upgrade and play Days Gone Remastered for less.

Days Gone Remastered, which will only be released digitally, has been built for PS5 and will have improved graphical fidelity, improved framerates, and will come with the following new features:
- DualSense controller support
- New accessibility features
- Horde Assault – a survival arcade mode
- Permadeath mode
- Additional content such as Speedrum mode and Enhanced Photo Mode
The game will retail for $49.99USD, which is approximately $80AUD.
HOW TO UPGRADE TO DAYS GONE REMASTERED
Owners of the game on PS4, either disc or digitally, are able to upgrade to the PS5 remaster for $15 AUD. Disc owners must have the disc inside the console for Days Gone Remastered to be playable.
