During last night’s Pokemon Presents, a new game was revealed. Pokemon Champions is a new game coming to Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android and features battles between Pokemon.
The game is being planned by Game Freak and developed by The Pokemon Works, the team behind Pokemon Sleep. While not much is known about the gameplay, the game does appear to be focused on online play, with a hard focus on previous multiplayer experiences in past Pokemon games at the beginning of the trailer.

The trailer shows that Pokemon X and Y’s Mega Evolutions and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s Terastallisation will be available to use in the game.
The game will have Pokemon HOME support with some exceptions:
- The Pokemon you can send to Pokemon Champions are limited to Pokemon that appear in Pokemon Champions.
- Pokemon obtained in the game cannot be deposited in Pokemon HOME.
- Pokemon obtained in Pokemon Go, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and other titles in the Pokemon series can be deposited into Pokemon HOME.
