After 5 and a half years, a new Sonic Racing title is finally on its way. During The Game Awards, a cinematic teaser trailer for the upcoming Sonic Racing title – Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, was revealed, catching many viewers off guard.

The 26-second trailer shows Shadow The Hedgehog seen with his famous kart, the Dark Reaper. He then drives into a mysterious portal while leaving a flamed wheel trail behind.
In the metadata for Crossworlds’ webpage on the SEGA Asia website, there is a brief description that reveals a little more about what we could expect from the game:
“Drift Across Dimensions! Race across land, sea, air, space and time in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.”
Being a teaser trailer, naturally, there is one partially hidden and familiar object that everyone is raving on about. Many fans online are speculating that there is an Extreme Gear from Sonic Riders placed on the wall, mostly covered in a blanket/cloth.
SONIC RACING: CROSSWORLDS RELEASE DATE
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds does not have a release date, and is teased as “coming soon”.
