Well, well, well. A Nintendo Direct announcement in the post Summer Games Fest is somewhat of a tradition at this point, and I’m definitely not complaining! The June 9th Direct ran for 50 minutes, followed by a Treehouse presentation. From Nintendo Switch Two ports, reveals, and DLC – it was a loaded presentation!
So if you weren’t staying up, here’s what you missed from the latest Nintendo Direct!
Rhythm Heaven Groove
Test your rhythm!
I remember bopping away on this back on the Nintendo DS so it’s exciting to see a new game coming out July 2nd on Nintendo Switch.
Onimushu: Way of the Sword
Parry sickos, this ones for you.
I am not a parry sicko, but the world design in this one is really cool. It’s coming September 25th.
Dragon’s Dogma 2
Another fantasy open-world to fall into.
Coming to Nintendo Switch 2 October 9th.
Stellar Blade
Stellar slasher is hitting the Switch 2.
With a sequel on the way, Stellar Blade coming to the console is good timing indeed.
Orbitals – Release Date
The art direction is everything.
Coming September 3rd, this one looks perfect for that shared gaming session with your go-to player 2.
Rayman Legends Retold – Release Date
If I squint, it’s Rayman 4
Rayman Legends owns as a side-scroller, so I’m eager to see how this plays out. It feels like Rayman needs some more love though. It’s out on October 1.

Link and Zelda are back in this remake of one of their most beloved games. Featuring a bold new animated style, we don’t yet have much to go off. While we don’t have a date for this one, I’m betting we’ll be playing this around November or December.
