Ubisoft has confirmed in a statement via socials that Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ release has been delayed from November 15, 2024, to a new date of February 14, 2025. This comes after Ubisoft pulled out of Tokyo Game Show this week, cancelling any hands-on previews of the game it had scheduled.
The statement says:
“This is an ambitious addition to the franchise, a rich experience that can be lived through the eyes of two unique protagonists – but we realize we need more time to polish and refine the experience, pushing further some of our key features”
“Additionally, preorders will be refunded and all future preorders will be granted the first expansion for free”.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is scheduled to be playable at PAX Aus 2024 in 2 weeks time. We will report if this changes.
