Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2, titled “Myths & Mortals,” launched over the weekend. It brought some new changes, including changes to the Medallion items. Here’s a guide on the Aspect locations, formerly known as Medallions, and what they do.
What are Aspects in Fortnite?
Aspects are dropped upon defeating the bosses, which need to be summoned at specific locations around the map. Functioning very similarly to Medallions from Chapter 5, Season 1, Aspects still show your location to enemies on the map but now offer different perks/abilities when held, which are outlined below.

The Aspect Locations In Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 2 and What They Do
Zeus, Ares, Hades, and Cerberus are the new bosses who hold the Aspect items. An effigy of each boss is placed at four locations around the map, which need to be interacted with to initiate the boss fight. This means the bosses will no longer roam around the POI, unlike the previous season.

Location: Mount Olympus
Aspect Effect: The Aspect of Speed grants the ability of speed. Players can run faster and jump higher while sprinting. - Ares
Location: Brawler’s Battleground
Aspect Effect: The Aspect of Combat gives players increases the damage of ranged weapons by the holder. - Hades
Location: The Underworld
Aspect Effect: The Aspect of Siphon grants a healing siphon effect upon eliminating a player. - Cerberus
Location: Grim Gate
Aspect Effect: The Aspect of Agility gives players Underworld Dash charges, allowing for another quick mobility option.
