Last night, during what will likely be one of the last Nintendo Switch Directs, we got our first look at Metroid Prime 4: Beyond gameplay. Wielding new ancient psychic abilities, Samus is once again blasting her way through alien creatures on a jungle planet. The game is still slated to arrive sometime this year.
First announced back in 2017, this new adventure sees Samus back at it again, this time imbued with ancient powers as she fights her way to safety and answers on Planet Viewros. Players will have to survive by scanning stone figures and relics to learn more about the planet while fighting back alien creatures. The psychic powers also give players new ways to solve puzzles in the world and even control her weapons in new ways.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will be released sometime this year.
