Lady Gaga has announced via X that she will be headlining the next season of Fortnite Festival.
Gaga made the announcement by quoting her iconic 2019 Tweet asking, “What’s fortnight” with a teaser image of one of her upcoming cosmetic skins coming to the game.
Fortnite Festival is a rhythm game by Harmonix (Rock Band) that launched alongside Chapter 5, Season 1 of Fortnite Battle Royale in December 2023. Season 1 of Fortnite Festival featured Canadian singer, The Weeknd.

When is Lady Gaga coming to Fortnite?
According to Fortnite’s Fortnite Festival information, Season 1 of Fortnite Festival will be ending February 23, 2024 at 1PM AEST. Gaga should make her Fortnite debut shortly after when Season 2 launches.

Lady Gaga is no stranger to Fortnite. Her 2020 hit song “Rain on Me” with Ariana Grande was featured on Fortnite Radio in-game back in Chapter 2 of Fortnite Battle Royale. Just recently, her song “Bad Romance” launched alongside Fortnite Festival.
If The Weeknd’s content is anything to go by, Gaga should be getting at least two different cosmetic skins as well as an emote and five new tracks to be playable in Fortnite Festival. While there are no leaks on any of the cosmetics, the teaser image Gaga posted on X looks very reminiscent of her Chromatica era.

While Gaga has shared that she is working on new music, it is unknown whether or not she will share her new work on Fortnite. The Weeknd premiered his music video for “Popular” in-game last week, so there is cause for speculation that Gaga may premiere something herself.
