PlayStation has announced Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered at yesterday’s State of Play (find all the announcements here). The game will be released on October 31 on PS5 and November 1 on PC.

In Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, key features have been added to enhance the game like never seen before:

- 4K graphics.
- New character models.
- Revamped sound mix, supporting PS5 Tempest 3D Audio Tech for higher-order ambisonics and Atmos rendering for an immersive soundscape.
- DualSense-feature heavy including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
- Native support for PS5 Pro.
- PC Version includes PlayStation overlay with Trophy support.
- Many accessibility features found in Forbidden West are available in HZD Remastered.
- Save files from original game will work, with New Game+ available at launch.

PURCHASING AND UPGRADING OPTIONS
For existing owners of Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4, PC) and/or Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition (PS4, PS5, PC): you can upgrade to the digital version of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered on both PlayStation 5 console and on PC (via Steam or Epic Game Store) for $9.99 USD (Australian pricing TBC).
This upgrade path is not eligible to players who redeemed the game on PlayStation Plus.
