Xbox has released the date and time of its upcoming Xbox Developer_Direct showcase, featuring an inside look at some of the highly anticipated games coming to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Game Pass.
Set to take place on Friday January 19, 2024 at 7:00 am AEDT, Xbox has promised to showcase the following on its Xbox (Twitch & YouTube) and Bethesda (Twitch & YouTube) channels.
Indiana Jones by MachineGames in Sweden will showcase around 10 minutes of gameplay and developer insights to tell everyone about the story and how you will play as the legendary Indiana Jones.
Avowed which Obsidian is working on in their Irvine Offices will deep dive into the gameplay elements that will be making up this new action RPG game as well as ‘Learn more about how Obsidian’s expertise in building worlds with deep themes, dynamic gameplay, and thoughtful reactivity come to life in Avowed where players will have agency to make choices to shape every step of their adventure.
Ara: History Untold being created by Oxide Game in Maryland who are the creators behind Civilization V as they share ‘exclusive new gameplay and share more details about the inspiration, key features, and road ahead for their upcoming historical grand strategy game.’
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II which was briefly shown off at the VGA’s in England by Ninja Theory will share insights on how they are crafting the world as well as speak about their grand ambition for this new game in the franchise.
As we are aware, last year’s Xbox Developer_Direct they managed to shadow drop Hi-Fi Rush which ended up being one of the best first-party games of the year from Xbox so our fingers will be crossed for another surprise from the Xbox team.
Following the Xbox Developer_Direct presentation will be a ZeniMax Online Studio presentation of what’s in store for The Elder Scrolls Online in 2024. This will take place at 8:00 am AEDT.
With such a great showing from last year’s Xbox Developer_Direct, it will be exciting to see if these titles will be appearing in 2024.
